Le Apache Acid is a line of blanks specific for stand up fishing that are mounted with rings arranged in a spiral rather than in a line. The Apache Acid shells are handcrafted products, designed and built specifically to be spiral-mounted (acid). The assembly of the spiral rings is defined on the basis of the calculations made with the blank in traction at various loads, precisely to make the most of the curvature of the blank that in fishing will work both in bending and in torsion. The advantage, compared to rods assembled in line, where only the force of the bending of the blank is exploited, is that with the spiral assembly the torsion is added to the bending and the power obtained is 30% greater.
