SG2 Made from a super strong graphite composite material that offers strength, a light weight and corrosion resistance, the SG2 is an affordable spinning reel that’s built to last. It features many unique technological advances that you would not expect to find on a reel at this price point including our proprietary Dura Grease that protects against corrosion and wear, an aluminium handle with soft-touch knob, custom made T-clip that’s easy to use, and a spare graphite spool. The reel is also available with two different gear ratios, depending on the size you choose (1000 to 4000 available). But the best ratio on this reel is that of quality to price – you’ll struggle to find a better entry-level spinning reel with as many unique features as the SG2.
