20 TOURNAMENT BASIA SURF Reel > Surf casting DAIWA The new Tournament Basia Surf 45 Scw QD is a Surfcasting reel with simply exceptional performance: designed and manufactured entirely in Japan, it is equipped with the most advanced Daiwa technologies: the result is a perfect machine that allows you to reach incredible casting distances.

Body and rotor of the Basia Surf are built in Zaion, an innovative carbon-based material that combines extreme lightness, stiffness and resistance comparable (or superior) to that of a metal, but unlike the latter it is totally free from corrosion.

The oversized Tough Digigear gears and the 9 ball bearings (2 of which are of the anti-corrosion CRBB type), make the Tournament Basia Surf extremely smooth and fluid in operation. Reliability is also record-breaking, thanks to the excellent construction quality, first-rate materials and Magsealed technology to protect the internal mechanics: based on a special magnetized oil membrane, it is the same used by NASA for the pipelines of fuel on the ships.
