EMBLEM SURF 45 SCQ QD Reel > Surf casting DAIWA The Daiwa Emblem Surf 45 SCW 4000 QD Reel incorporates something innovative that has never been seen on a Daiwa reel while remaining in a medium price range. It mounts a 45 mm spool, recognized as the maximum size for long distance fishing and which allows you to gain extra meters compared to a reel with a lower spool.

This Emblem uses a reduced oscillation speed called Slow Cross Wrap (SCW), a technical solution that allows a better collection of the line and that generates superior casting performance.

Body and rotor are made of graphite, which makes them light but at the same time rigid so that the Digigear II internal mechanics work at their best to always guarantee a fluid and precise rotation, which is also made possible by the Air rotor technology.

Equipped with an aluminum spare spool identical to the assembled one which contains 300m of 0.30mm line.

The clutch, 15kg of brake, is the famous Quick Drag Daiwa: in a fraction of a second it is possible to switch from the free clutch position to the ideal setting to fight the prey.
